Actor Kang Kyung Joon is under scrutiny for alleged infidelity with a married woman. The conversations between Kang Kyung Joon and the unnamed married woman, exchanged via Telegram instead of KakaoTalk, have come to light, revealing affectionate messages like "I miss you," "I want to hug you," and "I love you."

On the 8th, Sports Chosun exclusively obtained the contents of their Telegram messenger conversations. Following a report on the 3rd claiming that "Kang Kyung Joon faced a $38,000 lawsuit for an alleged affair on December 26 last year," his agency quickly released an official statement indicating a possibility of misunderstanding.

The agency confirmed that Kang Kyung Joon received the complaint and stated they would respond in order. However, it has been confirmed that Kang Kyung Joon and the unnamed married woman exchanged numerous affectionate messages. In one of the Telegram conversations, when she said, "I miss you," Kang replied, "I want to hug you." 

On another occasion, Kang sent a message saying, "I want to be with you without drinking. Alcohol is just an excuse." In response to the question, "What are you doing?" Kang Kyung Joon replied, "Thinking of you." 

With the release of these conversations, Kang Kyung Joon's image as a loving husband has inevitably been damaged.

The production team of KBS2's 'The Return of Superman', in which he is currently appearing, stated, "Future filming plans will be discussed after the complete resolution of this case."

It has also been belatedly revealed that Kang Kyung Joon and his wife, Jang Shin Young's exclusive contracts with their previous agency expired last year. Jang Shin Young has stopped her active social media presence since December 20 last year, and Kang Kyung Joon has not updated his feed since December 26 last year, the day he was sued.

Kang Kyung Joon married actress Jang Shin Young in 2018 after they developed a relationship through the drama 'Flower of Revenge'. They are raising Shin Young's son from her previous marriage and their son together. Kang Kyung Joon has been receiving much support from viewers for his devoted husband image through his appearances on SBS's 'Same Bed, Different Dreams 2 - You Are My Destiny' and 'The Return of Superman'.
