Once again, there were no surprises in this year's rankings for the most active entertainment broadcasters and comedians in 2023. Gallup Korea conducted a survey from November 2-4, involving 1,769 participants aged 13 and older from across the country (excluding Jeju), where respondents were asked to freely name their top choices.
In a familiar outcome, Yoo Jae Suk emerged as the undisputed champion with a whopping 41.3% of the support, securing first place for an incredible 12th consecutive year. Following closely behind, Kang Ho Dong claimed the second spot with 14.4% of the votes, while Park Na Rae earned the third position with 11.6%. Shin Dong Yup, Jun Hyun Moo, and Tak Jae Hoon followed in 4th, 5th, and 6th places, respectively, with 11.1%, 6.8%, and 5.5%.
Yoo Jae Suk's dominance in the entertainment industry is remarkable, as he has served as the MC for various iconic shows, including KBS2's 'Happy Together' (2001-2020), MBC's 'Infinite Challenge' (2006-2018), and SBS' 'Running Man' (2010~). He holds a unique distinction in Korean broadcasting history as the first MC to host ten programs on one of the three broadcasters for over a year.
Revered as a national MC both in name and reality, Yoo Jae Suk has clinched numerous prestigious awards, boasting a record-breaking 19 grand prizes. These accolades include entertainment awards from all three major broadcasting companies and the Baeksang Arts Awards. He continues to actively participate in various programs such as tvN's 'You Quiz on the Block,' 'Play Along With Yoo,' and 'Running Man.'
In a more recent development, Yoo Jae Suk has ventured into the YouTube market, captivating the hearts of younger audiences with his distinctive chemistry alongside comedians Jo Se Ho, Nam Chang Hee, and actor Lee Dong Wook.
