On December 17th, a video titled 'Living in the US for a Month Vlog ep.3' was uploaded to the personal channel run by Ahn Sohee.
In the video, Ahn Sohee shared her experiences in New York, stating, "After staying in a warm and peaceful place in LA, I felt the cold air and saw the cityscape when I came to New York. As I entered the hotel and started organizing my luggage, the chilly air in the room felt really cold."
She went on to reveal, "From that time, I started to think more and felt a bit down. Maybe it's because I was not completely alone in LA as I occasionally had my sister and brother with me. But in New York, being completely on my own, it all hit me suddenly."
Ahn Sohee also reminisced about her time living in New York during her Wonder Girls days, saying,
"It's strange. I used to live well alone in New York and loved walking the streets by myself." She added,
"New York is still the same, but back then, even though I was alone, I had my members back at the accommodation. Now that I think about it, it feels different. Maybe that’s why New York didn’t feel unfamiliar or lonely."
Later, Ahn Sohee visited stores she frequented during her time in the US and also went to where the JYP building used to be, which has now been converted into a real estate office.
Pointing to a location, she said, "I lived there, on the 3rd floor to the right," and added through subtitles, "Coming back here feels strange and nostalgic, seeing it changed to something else.
Thank you, New York 2009-2012, for the memories."
she got into a big movie like 'Train to Busan' and haven't heard from her since??
