Tis the Era of IDGAF: K-Stars who aren’t afraid to Speak Out against Sasaengs

AKP STAFF

Sasaeng fans have long been known for crossing boundaries, but the situation seems to have escalated recently, reaching a new level of severity. This increasing intrusion has led to an unprecedented response from celebrities themselves, who are now openly addressing these overzealous "fans" and urging them to respect personal boundaries. A tipping point has been reached, prompting these five K-pop stars to publicly express their frustration and call for a much-needed change in fan behavior.

1. BTS Jungkook: On multiple instances the singer has expressed to respect his boundaries, and even in the most recent live broadcast he held you can just tell that he's at the end of his patience. Even informing those who keep delivering food to his home that he isn't going to eat it no matter how many times they send it to him.

2. Seventeen Woozi: You can also tell just how irritated Woozi is as sasaengs continued to call his phone during his live broadcast.

3. Seventeen Hoshi: With so many sasaeng cases happening, Hoshi doesn't even seem fazed that an occurrence like this is happening again. But it's so frequent to the extent that he isn't afraid to confront them.

4. NCT Taeyong: As the singer turned on his Instagram live, many fans were swarming to catch a glimpse, but while Taeyong was having a great time with fans, he kept being interrupted multiple times by saesangs calling his phone to the extent that the singer stated, "Please, don't call me. That's so rude." Further expressing how he felt fearful of these type of people.

5. SHINee Key: Through his social media account, Key expressed his distress, even writing, "You can't call yourself a fan you poor people it was 6 am."

While it's great to support these idols, let's make sure that we all respect their boundaries. After all, they're people just like you and me!

Sasaeng "fans" need to start being thrown in jail. Stalking people at their homes or hotel rooms, invading their privacy, etc. NEED to start being treated like crimes with more severe consequences. Idols shouldn't have to live in fear.

Good for them. Every idol should be prepared mentally to deal with them and don't give a shit about them. These psychos can't be controlled but idols can protect themselves.
