Ju Ji-hoon is set to star in the new film 'Climax' (working title), following the success of '12.12. The Day' which is approaching ten million viewers. According to a report by OSEN on the afternoon of the 19th, Ju Ji-hoon recently received the script for 'Climax' and is positively considering the role.
'Climax' is a new project from Hive Media Corp, the production company behind '12.12 The Day' currently causing a sensation in theaters. The film is being prepared by director Lee Ji-won, known for 'Miss Baek' (2018), and is targeting shooting in the second half of next year. Hive Media Corp has produced well-made and entertaining films, including 'Inside Men,' 'The Last Princess,' 'Gonjiam: Haunted Asylum,' 'The Drug King,' 'Deliver Us From Evil,' 'The Man Standing Next,' and more.
Notably, 'Climax' represents a collaboration between Ju Ji-hoon and Lee Ji-won, who won a newcomer award for 'Miss Baek.' It is the first series produced by Hive Media Corp and is currently discussing distribution with global OTT platforms.
Ju Ji-hoon recently finished filming 'Escape: PROJECT SILENCE' and the Netflix series 'Severe Trauma Center,' and has been cast in 'Lighting Store,' a film based on a webtoon by artist Kang Full. 'Climax' is expected to begin production after the completion of 'Lighting Store.'
