Yuri, a member of the iconic K-pop group Girls' Generation, is set to captivate audiences with her exceptional acting skills in the forthcoming movie 'Mist' (working title), promising an unprecedented transformation for the artist.

In 'Mist,' Yuri will portray the character of Kim Min, an employee at a specialized cleaning company tasked with handling scenes of lonely deaths. Kim Min, who has emotional walls that isolate her from others, will be brought to life through Yuri's unique and wide-ranging expressive abilities. The film is expected to delve deep into the character's complex psychology, adding to the intrigue.

Taking on her first mystery thriller genre role since her debut, Yuri shared her excitement, stating, "I'm thrilled to showcase a new facet of myself through this fresh project. I am committed to delivering a healthy and enjoyable performance, so please anticipate it."

Actress Kwak Sun Young will join Yuri, playing the role of Lee Young Eun, a swimming instructor who raises her daughter as a single mother. Kwak Sun Young will transform into a character striving to maintain a semblance of normalcy while guarding her daughter's secret.

Lee Seol will take on the role of Park Hae Young, a new team member responsible for handling lonely death scenes alongside Kim Min. In the film, Lee Seol's character appears friendly and approachable but gradually unsettles those around him with boundary-crossing behavior.

The movie 'Mist' boasts a diverse and charismatic cast, including accomplished actors such as Gil Hae Yeon, Shin Dong Mi, Heo Jeong Do, Heo Ji Won, Yeom Ji Young, as well as emerging talents like Yoo Jeong Hoo and Kim Seung Hee.

'Mist' (working title) began its production journey on November 24 KST, with a planned release date in 2024.
