Director Han Jae Rim, known for his notable works like 'The Face Reader,' 'The King,' and 'Emergency Declaration,' is set to make his series debut with 'The 8 Show,' previously known as 'Money Game', on Netflix.

'The 8 Show' unravels the story of eight individuals confined within a clandestine space divided into eight distinct levels. Here, they partake in a captivating yet perilous competition where wealth accumulates with time.

With themes revolving around 'politics' and 'economy,' the series will delve deep into the primal desires of its characters, painting a vivid portrait of their clashes in a capitalist society. The inspiration for 'The 8 Show' draws from the immensely popular Naver webtoon 'Money Game' by author Bae Jin Soo, which boasts an impressive 300 million cumulative global views.

The stellar ensemble cast of 'The 8 Show' features some of Korea's most esteemed actors, promising an exceptional viewing experience. Leading the lineup is Ryu Joon Yeol known for his role in 'Replay 1988', and 'The Night Owl'. 

The cast also includes Chun Woo Hee, Park Jung Min, Lee Yeol Eum, Park Hae Jun, Lee Joo Young, Moon Jung Hee, and Bae Seong Woo round out the cast. Together, they will portray the eight participants navigating a landscape of collaboration, confrontation, hostility, and betrayal, ensuring viewers remain captivated throughout.
