Actor Lee Sun Gyun, who is under suspicion of drug use, has been re-summoned by the police for an investigation.

On November 4, the police re-summoned Lee Sun Gyun, who is accused of violating the Drug Control Act (marijuana and psychotropic drugs), and are conducting a suspect interrogation.

The actor stands accused of habitual drug use, supposedly partaking in marijuana and psychotropics at the home of a woman identified only as 'A,' an employee at a nightlife venue in Seoul's affluent Gangnam district, starting from the beginning of this year.

At his preliminary hearing on October 28, Lee Sun Gyun presented himself humbly before the investigative team, expressing his intentions through his legal representatives, "I remain consistent with the position previously stated by my agency. I pledge to engage fully and honestly with the investigative process. At this juncture, my heart goes out to my family, who are bearing an immense burden."

Initial drug screenings administered at the time returned negative results, prompting police to refer the case for further evaluation to the National Institute of Scientific Investigation (NISI).

The authorities intend to secure Lee Sun Gyun's statement during the November 4 investigation. It is noteworthy whether Lee Sun Gyun, who did not make any statements regarding the drug use allegations during the first investigation, will provide any statements this time.

Meanwhile, reports have surfaced that 'A' has generally admitted to using drugs alongside the manager of the entertainment establishment, known as 'B.'
