Actors Lee Byung Hun and Jung Yoo Mi took home the Best Actor and Actress awards at the 44th Blue Dragon Film Awards.
The awards ceremony, held on the 24th at KBS Hall in Yeouido, Seoul, saw Kim Hye Soo and Yoo Yeon Seok hosting for the sixth consecutive year.
Lee Byung Hun expressed gratitude and shared a humorous memory from the Busan Film Festival over a decade ago, thanking director Uhm Tae Hwa, the dedicated staff, and fellow actors Kim Sun Young, Park Bo Young, and Park Seo Joon.
He emphasized the significance of the Blue Dragon Film Awards, expressing that receiving the trophy feels genuinely fair. Lee Byung Hun also announced the upcoming arrival of his second child, playfully revealing the nickname "Buddy."
Jung Yoo Mi, with a joyful yet trembling voice, thanked the audience for their support and expressed gratitude to director Yoo Jae Sun for providing her with the script. She shared her happiness with the staff and concluded her speech by confessing her admiration for senior Kim Hye Soo, wishing her continued success.
