On the Mnet variety program 'Kstar Next Door 3' that aired on November 7, Jessi made an appearance and revealed her fiery outspokenness.

On the show, the host, Jonathan, read Jessi's artist profile and talked about some of the phrases associated with her image, such as "A real thug," "Sexy thug," "brutal thug," and more. He explained she has various hit songs that give her a strong image.

Regarding the phrase "Sexy thug," Jonathan asked, "Do you agree with this?" and Jessi responded, "Everyone has a different opinion but I don't agree. How can we always be sexy? But my mind is sexy." As Jessi said this, Jonathan pulled out a collage of Jessi's sexy photos.

When she saw the photos, she commented, "That's really sexy," and continued to explain, "Everyone, sexy doesn't mean wearing sexy clothes like this. I wore those outfits in Korea for the water bomb festival. I can't wear these to a university festival. But the water bomb festival is perfect (for these outfits). That's why I wore them."

She continued, "Men are...okay. Here's the thing. How come men can go shirtless? And show their nipples? Why can men do that but not women? Why can't women dress like this? It's the same thing. So I was like 'Whatever' and wore them. But that's only for the stage. I don't dress like this normally."

During the show, Jonathan added, "One of the reasons people like you is because of your blunt honesty. You honestly revealed about your smoking and that you had plastic surgery." He asked, "Why do you always try to be honest?" Jessi responded, "I think it's funny to hide it. I'm not saying, 'I got this done.' I'm not saying that. If I got something (plastic surgery) done and go on TV, my face looks different. But if I were to say, 'No, it's just makeup,' bwargh, That's cringy. I know a lot of people who do that." 

She continued, "So here's the thing. Idols say they don't smoke. They say 'I don't know how to do that,' but they get caught smoking. If Dispatch catches them or something, then people will criticize you even more." She added, "Of course, smoking is not good. But I say it straight up." 

Meanwhile, Jessi made a comeback on October 25 with her new single "Gum."
