On the 25th, Soojin made her comeback by launching her official YouTube channel, 'SOOJIN,' and simultaneously releasing a dance performance video titled 'BLACK FOREST.'
In the approximately 2-minute black and white video, Soojin graced the screen with an elegant dance performance synchronized with the music. Within just 2 hours of its release, the video garnered around 47,000 views, drawing considerable attention.
Previously, Soojin was embroiled in controversy related to school violence allegations when an individual, A, claimed to be her middle school classmate and posted an exposé online in 2021. As a result of the ensuing controversy, Soojin left the group (G)I-DLE in August of the same year. Subsequently, Soojin denied the allegations of school violence and filed a lawsuit against the whistleblower. However, in March of the following year, the case was dismissed.
Following the legal developments, Soojin terminated her contract with CUBE Entertainment, and later signed an exclusive contract with the new planning agency, BRD Communications, as she prepared to return to the music industry.
Soojin, who is set to release her album at the end of this month and embark on a solo career, is under close observation to see if she will receive a warm reception from the public. After leaving (G)I-DLE in 2021, she returns to the music industry after a hiatus of 2 years and 8 months.
Yessss, finally she's back. F*ck you Cube for taking her away from us for more than 2 years. But now, she is back and i wish the best for her. My Beautiful Baby Soojin.
