Bae Yoon Jung successfully managed to lose 13kg (~29 lbs) in just three months.
On October 1 KST, the choreographer took to her personal Instagram account to share photos of herself before and after her weight loss journey as well as a photo of her posing with a stick of Korean herbal medicine, writing, "I'm trying to be brave. No, I was really like that until four months ago? I had no idea back then, but when I took this picture, I realized just how serious it had been. I guess I was really in a desperate situation."
According to her post, she weighed up to 73kg (~161 lbs) following the birth of her first child earlier this year. "I really tried to lose weight by starving myself, but now that I'm older, my stamina isn't improving, and I'm not losing much weight. I've always had good results with Korean herbal medicine, so I tried it out of curiosity, and of course, it worked. I really recommend it to people like me who have a chimney-like determination but can't lose weight due to circumstances," she continued.
"I'm living like a human now," she commented, reflecting on her weight loss. "Before that, I pretended to be okay and cool, but I was really depressed and I felt pathetic." However, since her weight loss, she said she had gained her confidence back and that she would root for other people currently on their diet journey.
Meanwhile, Bae Yoon Jung is a K-pop choreographer and dancer famous for appearing as a mentor on survival programs like 'Produce 101.' She married her non-celebrity husband, who is said to be 10 years her junior and the CEO of a soccer club, in November 2019 and gave birth to their first child, a son, in June 2021.

absolutely ridiculous that women feel like they have to lose that much weight that quickly after **giving birth to a child.** that's a lot of weight to lose that quickly in any circumstance, but childbirth is a stressful experience for your body and it understandably takes a while to recover. i already see multiple people in the comments saying "well she was able to do it as a dancer" as if she didn't clearly state "i really tried to lose weight by starving myself", like, why are we looking at this as anything but sad.
