According to data provided by Spotify, one of the most important music platforms in the world, BLACKPINK has accumulated 2.64 Billion streams so far in 2023, a huge figure that will continue to increase since the annual year-end count has not yet ended. However, with these numbers achieved, BLACKPINK has just surpassed the record established in 2022, which belonged to themselves (2.6 Billion streams), breaking their own record for the biggest Streaming Year for any girl group in history.

Additionally, BLACKPINK was the most-followed K-Pop act on Spotify this week, with 193,000 new followers. The incredible thing about this is that it is not known if the group will renew their contract with YG but instead of decreasing their numbers, they remain stable or growing, demonstrating their solidified status within the music industry regardless of what happens in the future.
