After member Keena dropped her lawsuit against ATTRAKT, the remaining three FIFTY FIFTY members - Aran, Sio, and Saena - have opted to continue their fight against the label.
Over the past few days, the girl group consistently released lengthy statements through their Instagram account. These statements, alleging poor treatment from ATTRAKT, were posted once per day. The trio accused the agency of unfair treatment, alleging that ATTRAKT forced them to promote despite poor health. More alarmingly, the trio also promised to unveil the alleged "truth" about ATTRAKT CEO, Jun Hong Joon.
Upon releasing these allegations, FIFTY FIFTY met backlash from online communities. Multiple netizens have heavily criticized the girl group, doubting the credibility of their claims. Many were unable to find merit in their argument, given that many other idols are facing the same struggles and putting in the hard work to become successful in the industry.
Nevertheless, on October 16, the girls posted another statement saying, "We hoped the beautiful stories would just remain as stories." Just as they forewarned, the girls laid out arguments to disprove CEO Jun Hong Joon's claims that he had used his personal funds to handle the group's expenses.
Translated by FIFTY FIFTY's fandom HunniesUnited, the statement claimed, "After the CEO's interviews, the expenses already settled in the members' settlement statements since they were trainees spread as beautiful stories of the CEO 'Investing personal funds and entire fortune.' If the CEO 'truly wanted the members to come back to the agency,' as he said, the agency should have sent warnings to or stopped the fake news stemming from these stories and YouTubers using these stories to create malicious stories."
The girls provided captured photos disproving the CEO's claims that he sold his own car to financially provide for the girls using his personal funds. FIFTY FIFTY claimed that the funds they used were listed in their settlement statements as debts they had to repay.
They accused, "The CEO's untruthful interviews incited public opinion, ultimately forming negative public opinion toward FIFTY FIFTY. However, the agency did not take any measures to protect the rights of its artists. The members suffered from misunderstandings due to distortion of facts and malicious remarks, but the agency left us unprotected."
Below is FIFTY FIFTY's latest statement (October 16 statement), translated by their fandom (Hunnies United):
Bruh he sold his car to fund your training, doesn't mean you don't have to pay him back 🫣 the audacity of them literally jumping ship and cutting off communications but then turn around d to say "they didn't protect us!!! We're the victims!!!" When ATTRAKT CEO has publicly said multiple times that he only blames the givers and Ahn and hope the girls can still return. 😵 "where did the investment money go" bruh you guys debuted for 7 months, you guys are still burning money daily and throughout your two month "hiatus" too. Seems like they thought that just because they had to go to investor meetings all investment money should go straight into their pockets instead of funding their very young careers. Its like they dont even want public favour at this point they are literally the "kids these days" but looking at their parents I'm not surprised, man what terrible luck ATTRAKT ceo must have to debut 3/4 narcissists.
