Actor Jisoo has recently shed light on the cyber controversies that swarmed around him in early 2021. It was reported that he managed to clear the misunderstandings with a middle school classmate who initially accused him of alleged school violence and sexual misconduct.

In 2021 Jisoo's name was dragged into a series of accusations of bullying and sexual misconduct. These allegations were prematurely shared online even before any substantial evidence was uncovered. Subsequently, a representative for Jisoo confirmed that the accusations were untrue.

"To minimize the damage to upcoming projects, Jisoo issued a handwritten apology after the initial accusations surfaced and withdrew from an ongoing drama series," says his representative. However, the accusations snowballed into a series of malicious and false reports pertaining to Jisoo's sexual misconduct. It was reported that, despite taking legal action against the false claims, many authors deleted their posts and disappeared, leaving the actor to grapple with severe reputational damage.

The first wave of accusations started around March 2021, with a shocking post on Jisoo's social media account claiming to be from the husband of a woman wronged by Jisoo. As the agency announced legal proceedings against the false article, the supposed accuser apologized, admitting to the fabrication of the allegations.

Subsequently, a false report surfaced online, accusing Jisoo of luring and sexually assaulting a middle school girl. However, the individual who wrote the report quickly retracted their accusations and issued an apology.

Another false narrative caught attention on social media, this time posted by a person claiming to be Jisoo's high school classmate. The anonymous person claimed to have witnessed Jisoo engaging in inappropriate behavior. Once again, the post was swiftly deleted, leaving no room for legal action.

Jisoo's rep responded to the series of accusations with a firm statement, emphasizing that all allegations were false and unfounded. Jisoo himself maintained his innocence, denying any wrongdoings.

Amidst the turmoil, Jisoo's former classmate stepped forward to defend him stating, "Jisoo, who aspired to be an actor, was very cautious about his school life. Even as a popular figure, he always maintained respectful relationships with his peers."

Jisoo, who had momentarily paused his career due to the accusations, ended his contract with KeyEast in May by mutual consent. Having completed his mandatory service in July, Jisoo is currently without any scheduled appearances.
