On August 24, SBS' 'Unanswered Questions' publicly issued an apology for their controversial episode on FIFTY FIFTY. 

The episode, which aired on August 19, was met with a surge of criticism from both netizens and regular viewers, who accused the show of distorting the narrative about FIFTY FIFTY in a biased manner.

The backlash became even more pronounced when popular media outlet Dispatch took it upon themselves to counter-argue and disprove the allegations made during the contentious episode, further fueling the controversy surrounding the show.

Reacting to the mounting criticism, 'Unanswered Questions' released a statement expressing remorse for the episode in question. The show's producers stated, "First of all, not in line with the producers' intentions, the episode hurt the hearts of many staff members who work for K-pop and the many fans who love K-pop. For this, we are deeply sorry. We've taken the criticism and words sent to us by the Korea Management Union and Korean Celebrity Production Union to heart."

However, the issued apology failed to appease the viewers and netizens, who continued to express their outrage online. Many netizens commented, "This is such a superficial apology," "Just don't do anything," "I don't want to watch the show anymore, since it will bring up the viewership," "How much has the show been deceiving us," "The show lost all credibility," "What use is making a follow-up episode when no one will watch," "Bye Bye," "Please just buzz off," "This is a show that I will definitely stop watching and not trust," "They should apologize properly," "Just shut up, they are so annoying," and "They need to cancel the show."
