BTOB members are currently discussing their contract renewal with Cube Entertainment.
On August 28, Cube Entertainment told Wikitree, "It is true that the time has come to renew contracts with BTOB," and added, "Both the company and the members are carefully discussing the matter in a positive direction."
Prior to this, several media outlets hinted at the expiration of the contracts between BTOB members and Cube Entertainment, suggesting that they might conclude sequentially from the following month.
BTOB, a K-pop boy band comprised initially of 7 members - Eunkwang, Minhyuk, Changsub, Hyunsik, Peniel, Sungjae, and Ilhoon made their debut back in 2012. However, as of 2021, the group continues with six members following Ilhoon's departure after being tangled in a controversy around marijuana usage.
BTOB has managed to establish a strong imprint in the Korean music industry with their popular and unforgettable songs such as "Beautiful Pain," "Missing You," "For You," "It's okay," among others.
