ASTRO's Sanha has been cast in his first Joseon-era acting project, the film 'Suunjapbang'.
The 'Suunjapbang' is a real-life historical artifact from the early years of the Joseon dynasty, written by Kim Yu. It is a cookbook featuring recipes of numerous traditional Joseon-era dishes.
The film 'Suunjapbang' will follow the story of the young scholar Kim Yu (played by Sanha), an aristocrat from a long lineage of government scholars. One day, he meets a genius chef named Gye Ahm, and falls in love with the culinary arts.
'Suunjappbang' will be released on the streaming platform Wavve in December, and will also air on KBS2.
