Super Junior renew their contract with SM Entertainment; Donghae, Eunhyuk, & Kyuhyun to carry out individual activities elsewhere

Veteran K-Pop group Super Junior has renewed with SM Entertainment once again.

According to SM on July 14 KST, Super Junior will continue group activities with SM moving forward. In the case of members Donghae, Eunhyuk, and Kyuhyun, they will carry out individual promotions elsewhere, while maintaining relations with SM for Super Junior's group promotions.

Having debuted in 2005, Super Junior will be celebrating the group's 18th anniversary later this year. Look forward to what new stories await Super Junior and their fans in 2023 and beyond!

Why does this not clarify that the 3 are not under the label any further? I know its implied, but it's weird the way the situation is worded like they're trying to avoid saying the three members did not renew their contracts with the company.

I had a feeling there was going to be changes. Leeteuk was hinting as much. I'm glad they're all still committed to keeping Super Junior going.
