Photo Music Korea (PMK) recently announced that it would be launching a new series that introduces K-pop artists every month, and that it will be opening its series with a special Kang Daniel edition for its July 2023 issue. The magazine cover and spread features the solo artist Kang Daniel in unreleased photos from his recent album 'REALIEZ' photoshoot in Las Vegas.
After magazine pre-orders opened on July 12, fans flocked to online bookstores and the Kang Daniel edition landed #1 on several sales charts including Kyobo Daily Best Sellers, Aladdin Daily Best, and Yes24 Daily Best. The editor-in-chief of PMK, Kim Young Ik, expressed thanks to Kang Daniel’s fans and expanded the singer’s spread to 50 pages, longer than originally planned.
The issue of PMK will feature an interview with Kang Daniel by Billboard pop columnist Jeff Benjamin. It will also feature spreads with other K-pop artists including Teen Top, BB Girls, Mirae, NINE.i, and Play J. Starting with this issue, Photo Music Korea will introduce K-pop artists every month through "Jeff’s Corner."
In other news, Kang Daniel recently wrapped up promotions for 'REALIEZ' and ended his First Parade world tour with an encore concert. He will next appear at Japan’s 'Summer Sonic 2023' and then will appear as the MC on Mnet’s 'Street Woman Fighter 2.'
Nice! Another win for Kang Daniel and a win for the magazine as they launch this new series!
