The Ministry of National Defense Prosecutor's Office has formally concluded all investigations surrounding an army nurse 'A', who was previously accused of leaving their assigned base without notifying their supervisor in order to vaccinate BTS member Jin at a neighboring base.
The prosecutor's office investigated 'A' for two separate charges, including 1) stealing medical supplies without proper report and 2) deserting one's assigned post without proper report. The investigation found 'A' "not guilty" of the first charge, and concluded the second charge with "indictment waived".
In the case of the second charge, the investigation confirmed that 'A' properly reported the situation to their superior; however, the prosecutor's office made the decision to "waive" the indictment due to the fact that 'A' did not report the situation to the base commander. Previously, 'A' strongly denied all accusations made against them and explained that their assistance was requested by the neighboring base due to shortage of staff.
According to 'A's side, the issue was caused by "a malicious news report which did not bother to check for sources before spreading false rumors," and then blown up indiscriminately in proportion.
In other news, Jin recently updated fans on Weverse from his post as a assistant instructor at the new recruit training center, congratulating WINNER member Kang Seung Yoon on successfully completing his basic training.
The woman deserves an apology. She was just doing her job and helping out where there was a staff shortage.
