The Korea Brand Index Research Institute has published its findings for June's K-Pop idol group brand value rankings.
To determine brand value rankings, the Institute analyzed big data of currently promoting K-Pop idol groups in the following areas: consumer participation, media activity, communication, community activity, etc. Data was then converted into numerical values in order to determine the brand values of each brand by rank.
For the month of June (May 20~June 20 KST), BTS came out on top with a total of 11,654,947 brand value points, while BLACKPINK followed behind in second place with 5,209,267 points, NewJeans came in third place with 3,761,863 points, and Seventeen took up fourth place with 3,710,635 points. In the first half of June, BTS launched a series of global celebrations commemorating their 10th anniversary since debut with '2023 FESTA', which wrapped up on June 17 KST with a day of in-person events in Yeouido.
Meanwhile, here are the top 30 K-Pop idol groups in terms of brand value for the month of June: BTS, BLACKPINK, NewJeans, Seventeen, IVE, FIFTY FIFTY, LE SSERAFIM, (G)I-DLE, Stray Kids, aespa, EXO, NCT, TWICE, H1-KEY, BTOB, Girls' Generation, Oh My Girl, Big Bang, SHINee, MONSTA X, Red Velvet, ENHYPEN fromis_9, The Boyz, ASTRO, Cosmic Girls, Highlight, MAMAMOO, Super Junior, and STAYC.
