On June 17 KST, a group of angry Pentagon fans launched a protest against Cube Entertainment in front of Cube Entertainment's building in Seongsu-dong, Seoul. The fans sent "congratulatory flowers" to be displayed at the agency's building, but the words they contained were anything but congratulatory.

The ribbons on the flowers read: 

"Cube must take responsibility for Pentagon, a group that has been trusted and relied on its agency for a long time. When will Cube finally realize that it has been stomping on the efforts of its artists? Pentagon has been inactive in Korea for 500 days. No more sitting around in storage. When will Pentagon have a comeback in Korea? If you don't act now, there will no longer be a spotlight to shine on Pentagon. Promise Pentagon's Korean promotions and do not ignore the Korean fans any more. The artists have been bringing in new fans. The agency has been chasing the new fans away." 

It seems that some fans of Pentagon have banded together to launch a mass protest against Cube Entertainment in light of the boy group's inactivity in Korea for 500 days, and counting. 

In fact, Pentagon members Hui and Jinho have recently been in the spotlight for their appearances on survival programs. Hui appeared as a contestant on Mnet's 'Boys Planet' and demonstrated his talents as an idol, while Jinho appeared as a contestant on JTBC's 'Phantom Singer 4' and finished in the top 3. On the other hand, the fans have also pointed out that most of the members of Pentagon will face their contract renewal season by October of this year.
