CLC's Sorn has apologized for her controversial 'Harper's Bazaar Singapore' pictorial.
'Harper's Bazaar Singapore' came under fire for a photo shoot featuring Sorn due to her hairstyle. Some criticized the styling for the alleged cultural appropriation, and eventually, the magazine deleted the photos from their website.
Sorn's label WILD released an official apology, stating, "We hear and understand the concerns raised regarding the recent editorial shoot with Harper's Bazaar Singapore, we are currently prioritising and protecting our artist's well-being. While the styling of the shoot was solely under the jurisdiction of the publication, we deeply apologize for our own oversight and for the offence we may have caused. We are working hard to rectify the situation."
Sorn herself also took to Twitter to apologize. Check out her full statement and controversial photos below.

It seems like each time I read her name she's getting beat up for something.
So, what culture is being appropriated from when one frizzes up his/her hair? It's not as if that's an afro. -OR- Is this a fake controversy to stimulate readership in the magazine?
