BLACKPINK's LISA has just set another record that is unprecedented in K-pop history and something that no other Kpop soloist has achieved to date.
After being crowned according to the media as one of the most outstanding soloists of this decade, topping multiple major music charts, taking YouTube, Spotify, iTunes, and other platforms by storm with just two songs, and have won international solo awards, she has now received two new Guinness records to her name.
In particular, Lisa was awarded the Guinness Record for becoming the fastest Kpop female soloist to achieve 1 billion streams on Spotify across all credits with the tracks "LALISA," "MONEY," and "SG," (a collaboration with DJ Snake, Ozuna, and Megan thee stallion) achieving it on October 26, 2022.
Additionally, Guinness World Records also confirmed Lisa’s “LALISA” is the first album by a Kpop Soloist to reach 1 billion streams on Spotify. This achievement was established on April 28, 2023, which is 595 days after the release of her album.
