Jimin's 'FACE' is the Fastest K-Soloist album to surpass 400M streams on Spotify

Just a few days ago, Jimin set and broke new records on Spotify with his smash hits from his solo debut album 'FACE,' and now there are even more records set by his album, thereby continuing to assert his dominance as a trailblazer for Korean soloists on the global music market.

The B-side tracks 'Set Me Free Pt.2' and 'Like Crazy (English Version') both surpassed 100 million streams back to back. 'Set Me Free Pt.2' achieved this feat first and set a new record as the fastest B-side track by a Korean soloist to surpass 100 million streams on the platform. However, just the next day, 'Like Crazy (English Version)' also surpassed 100 million streams and now claimed the record previously held by 'Set Me Free Pt.2'. The Korean/original version of 'Like Crazy' had already achieved this milestone and currently holds the record for the fastest Korean solo song to reach 100 million streams on the platform, meaning that the 'FACE' album now has 3 songs with over 100 million streams. This prompted yet another record for Jimin and his album, Jimin being the first and only Korean soloist with 3 songs surpassing 100 million streams from the same album, and 'FACE' being the first and only album by a Korean soloist to have 3 songs exceeding 100 million streams.

With the three songs performing exceptionally well on the streaming platform, the album 'FACE' has reached yet another milestone that is a new record as well. Overall, the album has accumulated over 400 million streams in just 41 days, becoming the fastest album by a Korean/K-pop soloist in history to achieve this feat.

The 400 million mark in streaming numbers also places 'FACE' above every other album released by any Korean/K-pop act in 2023, be it soloists or group acts!

It now holds the record as the most streamed K-pop album on Spotify in 2023. Only one other album by a K-pop group has more streams, but this is only because it includes songs released in 2022! Thus Jimin has the records for the most streamed album by a Korean/K-pop soloist in 2023 and the most streamed album by a Korean act in 2023 on the platform.

Additionally, the Korean or original version of 'Like Crazy' surpassed 129.7 million streams on Spotify as of the last update. It now holds the record as the most streamed song by a Korean or K-pop solo artist in 2023!

This record previously belonged to 'VIBE,' a song by Taeyang in which Jimin was a featured artist.

Overall, among all the top 5 most streamed songs by Korean songs on Spotify this year, Jimin owns 3 of them and is a featured artist on 1 of them! His impact as a solo artist, despite having newly debuted and not even 6 months old as a solo act, is evident and worthy of immense applause.

Fans are more than proud of their idol Jimin for his performance as a solo artist.

Congratulations Jimin!
