On April 12 KST, Kep1er's management label Wake One Entertainment delivered news of member Kim Chaehyun's ankle injury.

The agency stated, "Kim Chaehyun recently suffered an ankle injury during one of her schedules. As a result of pain and swelling, Chaehyun visited a hospital immediately and was advised to wear a half cast while using crutches to walk."

Wake One Entertainment continued, "Chaehyun felt disappointment in the fact that she would not be able to perform on stage at the beginning of Kep1er's comeback promotions, as well as concern that she would damage the team due to her personal circumstance, and so she expressed her strong wishes to be on stage with her teammates while also focusing on her speedy recovery. With the medical expert's advice in mind, the matter was discussed at length with the Kep1er members, and it has been decided that Chaehyun would perform on stage while sitting in a chair."

Finally, Wake One Entertainment added, "Please understand that Chaehyun's participation in further schedules is subject to change at this time." 

Earlier this week, Kep1er signaled their return with the release of their 4th mini album 'Lovestruck!' and title track "Giddy".
