Apink members Chorong, Bomi, Namjoo, and Hayoung will be starting fresh at Choi Creative Lab.

Earlier on April 28 KST, IST Entertainment announced the departure of the four Apink members from their debut agency after 12-years together.

Not long afterward, Choi Creative Lab revealed, "We notify that Apink members Chorong, Bomi, Namjoo, and Hayoung have signed exclusive contracts with the agency, effective beginning in May of 2023. At Choi Creative Lab, we plan on supporting the four members of Apink in both their team and individual promotions to the best of our capabilities. We will provide for our artists with warm and magnanimous leadership as to foster their growth, and also make many happy memories together."

The agency also added, "As all of the members are both determined and have great affection for their group activities as Apink, it was promised that all four artists would be able to retain their team. We intend on cooperating with IST Entertainment to ensure Apink's future activities."

Meanwhile, Choi Creative Lab is largely known as a character licensing agency. Beginning in 2023, the company announced its plans to recruit and nurture K-Pop talent, and it seems that the Lab's first official artists will be the four Apink members.
