TWICE has set yet another historical achievement with their latest album.
On March 20 KST, Billboard announced that TWICE's 12th mini-album 'READY TO BE' debuted at No. 2 on the U.S. main album chart, Billboard 200, becoming their highest-charting debut on the chart, surpassing 'BETWEEN 1&2' and 'Formula of Love: O+T=<3.'
With over 153,000 units sold (10.28 million on-demand streams and 145,500 pure sales), TWICE officially broke the record for the biggest first-week debut sales in the U.S. of any K-Pop female act in Billboard 200 history.
The record was previously held by BLACKPINK's first studio album, 'THE ALBUM,' which had around 110,000 units sold during the first week of release.
In addition, TWICE extended their record as the Korean female act with the most top 3 and top 10 albums on Billboard 200.
Congratulations to TWICE!
And everybody swore twice isn’t apart of the big 3 anymore. You can’t get rid of twiceeeeee.
