According to the Oricon chart on February 28, Stray Kids' most recent Japanese album 'The Sound' landed atop its weekly album chart in its first week, selling over 377,000 units - the group's first-ever No. 1 hit on the chart.
'The Sound' ranked first on Oricon's daily album ranking, tallying over 250,000 copies sold on its first day, becoming their best-selling Japanese album in first-day and first-week sales.
It also became the highest-selling album by a fourth-generation idol boy group in first-week sales, surpassing TXT's 'Good Boy Gone Bad (JP Ver.)', which had around 360,000 its first week of release.
