On March 21, an anonymous individual wrote in an online community that Yoo Yeon Seok abused his powers and was being disrespectful to a security guard.

According to the netizen who wrote the post, Yoo Yeon Seok had disrespected their father, who is a security guard. Netizen 'A' claimed their father had worked as a security guard for Yoo Yeon Seok's apartment building but quit after a nasty encounter with the actor.

However, with the story receiving much media attention, the initial accuser confessed that they made it all up and had written the post out of jealousy.

On March 22, the netizen 'A' wrote on the online community, "I wrote the post out of jealousy because Yoo Yeon Seok was appearing often on various entertainment programs and was becoming popular." 

The accuser continued to write, "I didn't know this would blow up. I apologize to Yoo Yeon Seok. I never met him in person, but I think he is a considerate person with a good personality. I will not delete this post."

The netizen posted proof that he was the author of the original post by showing that he had the authority to edit and delete the original post.

After the initial accusations were made that Yoo Yeon Seok had abused his powers and was rude to the security guard, the actor's agency checked the facts and stated that the accusations were false. King Kong by Starship stated, "After checking the facts with the actor himself, he said he has never done so and the allegations are false. We will file a criminal lawsuit against the writer of the post for defamation by spreading false information."

Meanwhile, Yoo Yeon Seok has been receiving much love for his roles in various movies and dramas. In particular, he has participated in various hit dramas such as 'Reply 1994', 'Mr. Sunshine, 'Hospital Playlist,' and 'Dr. Romantic.'
