JTBC's new idol survival show 'Peak Time' aired its first episode on February 15 and is already gaining much attention from viewers and netizens alike.

This is thanks to the immense talent the contestant groups have already shown and also because of the candid attitude of the judges.

Already Jay Park had stunned everyone by openly joking about the time he was suspended from 2PM. During the first episode, it was revealed that the winning team will be given a prize of 300 million KRW (~233,000 USD). When the prize money was announced, Jay Park jokingly shared, "I thought it was gonna be 100 million KRW but 300 million KRW? I was suspended from activities a long ago too, can I participate here?" In response, Kyuhyun joked back, "Jaebum, you're too old," making everyone laugh.

There were more instances that made not only the judges but the viewers let out a burst of nervous laughter. On 'Peak Time,' the contestant groups will be performing with a given team name, based on 24 hours or military time.

When team 14:00 appeared on stage, they sang a melody, "We are peak time's 2PM," and said, "We're 14:00." Kyuhyun immediately joked aloud, "Oh?! 2PM!" looking straight at Jay Park. At that moment, Kikwang laughed out loud while Tiffany went to say, "Phew, that was so sudden, and I haven't heard that in a while..."
