Lana, a Russian soloist best known for her participation in the Chinese survival show Produce Camp 2020, has signed an exclusive 360-management contract with WILD Group. She is the first K-Pop soloist of Russian descent, debuting in June 2019 with the single “Take The Wheel”.
In October 2020, LANA made her debut in China with her single “Talk Talk,” leading to her immense popularity in the region.
Earlier this month, WILD Group announced via Instagram that they had signed LANA in an exclusive contract. WILD Group’s CEO Leonard Lim says, “We’re so happy to be welcoming such notable talent to our roster this year. We’ve got some big projects lined up, so we’re looking forward to sharing that with everyone when the time comes.”
If she really has "immense popularity" in China then why does she want to be a Kpop singer? China is a bigger market and she already put in the effort to compete on a Chinese show.
