A few days ago, Seventeen revealed the concept teaser for the newest version of their light stick.
The upgraded design features the same diamond in the middle of the dome as the previous versions, with the diamond representing their fandom Carat.
In the 3rd design of the light stick, the diamond is encased in a transparent dome, with the body being metallic black. Fans will also be allowed to purchase additional decoration items that feature all the members' names.
Fans are already loving the design and can't wait to get their hands on the new light stick. But there is some disappointment in the color as there are some fans who hoped that the light stick will maintain the group's official colors - Rose Quartz and Serenity.
Fans commented, "I think it looks so cute," "So stylish," "I am already loving the new look," "I'm a new fan and I can't wait to purchase the new light stick because it's so pretty," "I am just worried if I would be able to purchase it before it runs out of stock," "I wish they kept the white color and not make it black," and "It's so pretty but I felt the black was so random."

Misleading title, a majority of Carats I've seen across all social medias hate it. The reason? Because version 2 was very pretty but more so ON BRAND for Seventeen with the official fandom colors rose quartz and serenity for the handle and the shape of the dome. People are saying this version is "Hybeified" with the dark handle and basic dome. The entire thing just looks basic. But the diamond is pretty at least! I'm not sure if I'll get this one, as much as I love Seventeen. I think version 2 is hard to beat, and we have our fandom colors and identity so idk why they decided to strip that.
