NewJeans topped the K-Pop idol group brand value rankings for January.
According to the Korea Institute of Corporate Reputation on January 23rd, NewJeans topped the K-Pop idol group brand value rankings for the month of January.
The Institute analyzed 99,957,750 big data of currently active K-Pop idol groups from December 23rd to January 23rd. The data set includes consumer participation, media activity, communication, community activity, and more.
NewJeans took first place with 9,400,011 brand value points. BTS ranked second with 8,106,573 brand value points. BLACKPINK came in third with 4,865,510 brand value points. IVE, Seventeen, (G)I-DLE, NCT, Girls' Generation, Big Bang, and Super Junior came in the top 10 in respective order.

It's early days, but it's really feeling like NewJeans will become the female BTS in terms of phenomenon-level international popularity. I think they're poised to explode like no girl group ever before, including Blackpink.
