A number of Key's SM Entertainment labelmates made an appearance at his solo concert 'G.O.A.T. (Greatest Of All Time) IN THE KEYLAND,' which is being held at Seoul's Jangchung Municipal Stadium this weekend.
According to multiple media reports, roughly 4,000 fans attended Day 1 of the event on October 23 KST. Among those attendees were also SM Entertainment's Lee Soo Man, Red Velvet's Irene and Yeri, as well as SHINee groupmate Taemin, who is currently serving in the military. During the concert, Key also introduced his parents to the audience, saying "If these two people were never in love, I wouldn't be where I am now" and singing his song "Proud."
As Taemin has been largely out of the public eye since enlisting in military service, many fans were excited to see him at the event, with many fan-taken photos and videos of him entering the venue and enjoying the concert making their rounds on social media. During the concert, he was smiling brightly as he waved his SHINee lightstick and even held up an event slogan that read: "Kibum [Key's real name], I've missed you."
Within the first few hours following the event, Taemin became a hot topic on Korean online community Instiz, with news of his appearance showing up in posts titled "Look at Taemin being cute yesterday" and "Taemin is still so adorable." A majority of the comments in response had netizens greeting Taemin with a "long time, no see," while others commented on how adorable he looked smiling and enjoying the show. One netizen also laughed as they pointed out that poor Taemin had to sit next to Lee Soo Man for two hours.
Meanwhile, Taemin first enlisted in the military on May 31, 2021. He is scheduled to be discharged on March 2, 2023.
