Park Yoo Chun's new film 'To Evil' is not allowed to have a theater premiere in South Korea

The film 'To Evil,' which was anticipated as Park Yoo Chun's comeback to the entertainment industry in Korea, will not be able to premiere.

Park Yoo Chun garnered attention after announcing in September that he would be making a comeback with the film for the first time in 4 years. For the past few years, Park Yoo Chun has been embroiled in various lawsuits, including his drug charges and the lawsuit filed by his former agency. During the lawsuit with the former agency, the court ordered a broadcast appearance ban on the celebrity, preventing him from promoting in South Korea.

'To Evil' was scheduled to premiere this month in October, but the theater release was canceled. Park Yoo Chun's plans to make a comeback to Korean broadcasting have fallen through as the court denied his request for the broadcast ban to be lifted.

Therefore, the production company decided to release the film on IPTV and other VOD services without having a theater release.
