MBC canceled the press conference for the '2022 World Cup' broadcast.
According to an insider on October 31st KST, MBC called off the press conference for the upcoming World Cup broadcast which was scheduled for November 1st. It was reported Ahn Jung Hwan, Kim Sung Joo, and more were going to present at the press conference.
But as the president declared a national mourning period has been declared for the recent tragedy in Itaewon, MBC decided to cancel the said press conference out of respect.
Meanwhile, joint alters have been set up in Seoul to mourn the victims of the national tragedy.
