On September 8, BTS attended the 2022 'The Fact Music Awards' and took home several major awards. BTS also had their first performance as a group in months since their last album release in June.

Kim Taehyung, aka V, looked dashingly handsome dressed in a black suit as he went on stage with his group to receive their awards. He charmed the viewers while being his adorable self when he gave his 'Thank You' speech. 

The group later performed "Yet to Come" and "Youth" from their latest album 'Proof.' Taehyung had an outfit change and stunned the audience with his vampire-like visuals. 

Dressed from head-to-toe in black, wearing a turtleneck and long coat, Taehyung looked like he came straight out of a movie. 

While both songs performed were ballads with no choreography, Taehyung entranced the crowd with his soulful vocals and emotional performance. 

Taehyung faced technical issues when his in-ears were giving him little electric shocks throughout the performance. But he showed his professionalism by hiding his discomfort and performing without a hitch.

Fans were also delighted to see Taehyung with a new red mic after he used a green mic for years and briefly switched to a grey mic. 

In last month's interview from BTS's 'Proof Collector's Edition' album, Taehyung revealed that red was the color that best represented him, so the change in mic color is only fitting. 

As the award show came to an end, Taehyung playfully showed love and respect to the crowd through waves, bows, and flying kisses. 

For the 4th year in a row, Taehyung was the most-searched idol in relation to 'The Fact Music Awards,' proving his continued popularity throughout the years.
