Park Joon Hyung urged caution against social media accounts impersonating him.
On October 15 KST, the g.o.d member took to his personal Instagram account, writing, "Yo, yet another imposter FAKE ACCOUNT! This person is NOT me, so if you get a DM from this person, do not reply and just IGNORE them and report them to Insta ASAP!"
Along with the message, he shared a screenshot of the account in question, writing "FAKE!" on it in both English and Korean.
"I have already reported this person to Instagram, but I think Insta is snoozing. Do your work, Insta security! Sheesh," He continued, criticizing Instagram's slow response to clearing up the issue. "I only have ONE Insta account, and it's this one you are reading, and [I] will never ever make another one, so if you see any others, keep reporting them! BBBAAAMMM!"
In response to Park Joon Hyung's post, his Instagram fans left comments promising that they will continue to report these accounts, with one adding, "Hyung, I think it's proof that you're just that popular."
Meanwhile, Park Joon Hyung and the rest of g.o.d are currently preparing for their upcoming 'ON' tour, commemorating their 23rd debut anniversary with concerts in Seoul and Busan this December.

We have this problem in the fanartist community for years.
People steal other artists works and open instagram pages with stolen artworks. But instagram will only act against them if the original artist will fill out a form with a lot of sensitive personal data they shouldnt need to acknowledge that one of them is a thief since there are often watermarks on those works.
So in the end such post will mostly get reported as spam or an other violation of instagram rules by the fanartists community. But it takes a lot of such reports for instagram to do anything 🙄
