Cosmic Girls (WJSN) has set a new personal record with their latest album!
On July 5 KST, Cosmic Girls made their anticipated comeback with a special single album 'Sequence', which features "Last Sequence" as its title song. According to the data released by Hanteo, the album sold 71,396 copies on its first day, setting a new impressive feat for the group.
Cosmic Girls not only broke their own record for first-day sales, but they also outsold their previous highest-selling album in first-week sales. The previous record was held by the group's 'Neverland', which sold 47,191 copies on the first day of its release. 'Neverland' was also the group's highest-selling album in first-week sales prior to the release of 'Sequence,' which achieved 66,967 copies in first-week sales. 'Sequence' already surpassed Cosmic Girls' personal best in first-week album sales just on its first day of release, demonstrating their growth since their debut and since winning Mnet's survival show 'Queendom 2'.
Congratulations to Cosmic Girls!
Have you watched their "Last Sequence" comeback MV yet?
I wonder if the members will renew their contracts and how much Starship will invest in WJSN.
