Singer Sunmi talked about her recent kissing scene in her "Heart Burn" music video.
On the July 6 KST broadcast of MBC FM4U's radio show 'Kim Shin Young's Noon Song of Hope', Sunmi made a guest appearance and talked about her new summer single release "Heart Burn". On this day, Sunmi talked about acting in her music videos and stated, "In my music videos, there is always acting. Weirdly, directors always tell me to act." Commenting about her own acting, Sunmi said, "I never learned acting and am not great at it, but I think there is my signature point in the facial expressions I make as an ad lib."
DJ Kim Shin Young then stated, "I heard that you said it's okay to film [kissing scenes] because you're in your thirties now." To this, Sunmi replied, "That's right. We got an okay after just filming it just once. I didn't film it again. To be honest, it wasn't really a kissing scene, but just a peck and it ended at that."
Meanwhile, Sunmi recently made a comeback with her new single "Heart Burn" on June 29 KST.
On one hand - yes absolutely but on the other hand, there was nothing wrong with doing this in 20s too. I will say that I think solo artists can get away with doing this, idol groups still cannot even the older sunbaes like SuJu. Heck, they sropped even having women acting in the romantic MV scenes because their fans protested a while back. The last one I remember was Lo Siento with some romantic mv scenes
