School bullying accusations against LE SSERAFIM member Kim Garam continue to rise following alleged new evidence.
There have been various online community posts claiming that Kim Garam has been a school bully, with numerous items and photos showing alleged proof that the rookie idol was a school bully.
While Source Music denied the allegations and Kim Garam also stated that it is difficult to give any statements regarding the bullying controversy, this topic of discussion continued to be prevalent in various online communities.
On May 15th, a netizen shared 'new evidence' of Kim Garam being a school bully. He shared a picture of the results document issued by the Autonomous Committee for Countermeasures against School Violence which states Kim Garam from the first grade as a perpetrator along with another student's name.
Another netizen left a comment confirming Kim Garam was in classroom number 3 when she was in the first grade of middle school (equivalent to the 7th grade) with a picture of a school field trip.
Netizens were split over the alleged new evidence. Some of the comments include:
"The entire document could be forged. Are you sure that document is indeed authentic?"
"If you call the cops on the issue or if you directly report the issue to the Ministry of Education, the school has to summon the Autonomous Committee for Countermeasures against School Violence and hold a trial no matter how small the issue is. So you can't really gauge the graveness of the issue just by the fact that the committee was summoned."
"If this is real I don't understand how she had the audacity to debut as an idol."
"HYBE should stop turning a blind eye."
"I can't fathom how her victim would feel seeing her debuting as an idol"
"Why did the original poster cut the bottom half of the document? It could say she was found not guilty."
Forging documents like this is a serious crime in korea. If this is not real, the poster wouldn't be that stupid to post this just for hybe to sue them. Also, if you went to school in korea, you'd know that schools do not summon these school violence committees for fun, it has to be serious enough to alarm the ministry of education. And schools tend to downplay/ignore the bullying to save their reputation. The fact that a committee was summoned in the first place means she must've done some serious damage.
