On the 8th episode of the podcast 'Korean Cowboys,' former NU'EST member Aron shared his deep thoughts and candidly shared about the anxiety he had suffered.
In this latest episode of the podcast, the two hosts talked about the topic of mental health and mental wellness. On this day, Aron confessed that he suffered from mild depression and anxiety. He shared that he, at one point, suffered depression because of the pressure and burden he had.
Aron elaborated that he felt that he was not producing results and was not bringing as much success to the group as he was the only member who didn't appear on the popular competition program 'Produce 101.' NU'EST's popularity skyrocketed after their appearance on the show.
Aron shared how he honestly felt back then and explained the pressure he had felt. Aron explained that he felt the pressure and was burdened because he was not making progress while the other members were gaining recognition through the show. The idol also confessed, at one point, that he felt so much pressure that he wanted to leave the group.
However, Aron was able to stay with the group thanks to the company and his members, who encouraged him to stay. Both the company and the members assured Aron that he had also worked hard and that the hard work will pay off.
