Brave Girls' popularity brings Brave Entertainment financial success but fans wish for better management so the girl group can be even more successful

With Brave Girls gaining belated popularity with "Rollin'," the revenue of Brave Entertainment increased 20 times in 2021.

According to Brave Entertainment's audit report submitted to the Financial Supervisory Service on May 2, revenue in 2021 was 17.84 billion KRW (14.1 Million USD), which is an increase of 1976.8% compared to 2020.

Brave Entertainment was founded in 2012 by famous producer Brave Brothers (Kang Dong Chul) and is home to Brave Girls and the boy group DKB.

Brave Girls did not receive much attention or popularity after their debut but suddenly gained immense popularity as one of the live performance videos of the song "Rollin'" became viral in 2021. Since then, Brave Girls have been solidifying their spot as one of the popular girl groups and have been actively promoting.

Brave Girls released their 5th mini-album, 'Summer Queen,' and topped the charts with "Chi Mat Ba Ram," in June of last year, followed by their digital single 'Summer by Myself' in July and a repackaged album 'After We Ride' in August.

Thanks to the success of Brave Girls, the agency was also able to gain an immense in sales. Last year's sales reflected 11.8 billion KRW from the group's albums (9.3 Million USD), 3.7 billion KRW (3 Million USD) from advertisements, and 130 million KRW (103,000 USD) from overseas performances.

Since Brave Girls gained a second chance with the newly founded popularity, fans are hoping Brave Entertainment does a better job managing the group so that the girl group can become even more successful.

Fans commented, "There is no one who's perfect, Brave Brothers is good at making songs but sucks at managing, he needs to learn from SM and JYP," "Why do they have so much profit left over, do they not reinvest into the group?" "They need better concepts, hair, and makeup," "it's just unfortunate because the company is so bad at planning," "Please hire another stylist so they can be dressed better," and "I wish they would reinvest a lot into the concept and styling of the group."

I wish they would come up with an elegant concept like Apink or even a retro concept like Wonder Girls. I think they’d be great for that. I love watching them on Queendom but I feel like their management is still stuck in an underdog mentality and it’s clearly affecting the members. This really showed on the scene where Hyolyn told Minyoung to be more confident. They have the skills, they have the charisma, they have so much potential. I’m rooting for them.

I feel like a lot of entertainment companies are not good at managing their groups especially some of the big three.. Samuel Kim left brave entertainment, I remember about that incident.
