'True Beauty' author Yaongyi revealed that she gets inspired by K-pop idols like IVE's Wonyoung.

On April 13 KST, author Yaongyi of the popular webtoon 'True Beauty' made a guest appearance on MBC's variety show 'Radio Star'. Here, Yaongyi talked about buying clothes in person in order to accurately draw the material, as well as taking notice of trending idols. In particular, author Yaongyi mentioned being inspired by the style of IVE's Wonyoung, gathering attention. Notably, Yaongyi has previously posted a drawing of her female character on her personal Instagram story with the words, "With the feeling of Won Young..". 

Netizens discussed their thoughts on the similarities between the 'True Beauty' female character and Wonyoung, which they had noticed since the past.
