Back on April 20, actor Lee Sang Yup piqued fans' curiosity with an announcement on his Instagram. 

Lee Sang Yup said, "Later this afternoon around 3?30 PM KST, I plan to deliver some news via my Instagram story." 

Seeing the actor's update, many fans began sharing their speculations, commenting, "Is he getting married?!", "Is he dating someone??", "It must be for a new project", "Isn't he in the middle of filming something? Maybe it's a mission for a variety show", and more. 

Then, when the announcement time finally came, Lee Sang Yup revealed, "Hello, I'm Lee Sang Yup. I honestly had no idea that this would become such a big deal. Let me get right to the point. In order to interact with you all more closely, I have decided to start my own YouTube channel. I plan to open the channel some time in mid-May. It seems that many people speculated I was getting married. But I am not. Please look forward to my YouTube channel, and please like and subscribe once it opens." 

Meanwhile, Lee Sang Yup is currently greeting viewers on the tvN variety program, 'Six Sense' season 3. He's also preparing to return to the small-screen in tvN's upcoming drama series, 'Eve'.
