MAMAMOO's Hwa Sa confessed her feelings about malicious comments.
In Wave's original 'MMM_Where are we now,' which is a documentary video about MAMAMOO released on the 25th, Hwa Sa confessed that there was a time in which she spent a horrendous time due to malicious comments, even thinking, "Would this situation end if I die?"
On this day, Mamamoo's agency RBW CEO Kim Do Hoon explained, "Hwa Sa used to be a lot chubbier, but then she would dress boldly so some people would just say, 'She's interesting, wonder what she'll be later?' but then there were people who were more conservative and would comment, 'You're unlikeable, you won't make it.' To be honest, it's a world where women are more subject to criticisms over their image."
As a result, Hwa Sa had to suffer from malicious comments related to her appearance. She explained in the documentary, "I thought it was just misfortune. So I even thought 'Would this situation all end if I die?' My occupation is a singer. And I'm not the type of person who wants to do other things, businesses while being a singer. I want to repay my fans with music and communicate with them through music. That's is everything to me, that's the type of person I am But then it got to a point where I didn't even want to do that."
No idol should have to think that, I don't care whether you like an idol or not. Getting someone to a point where they consider harming themselves is an act of pure evil and ignorance. If you're one of those people, shame on you!!
