On December 31st, just after the clock struck midnight to usher in the New Year, Jimin recorded a new record on KDOL by emerging first in the daily ranking vote, which also saw him ascend to the first position in the weekly and monthly rankings on the platform. 

KDOL is an app that allows fans to support and cheer for their bias by collecting 'hearts' daily through various activities and challenges, and they then use the 'hearts' to vote for their bias each day. This voting ranks winners with the most 'heart votes' on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis.

For the last day of 2021, Jimin accumulated 244,514,273 votes, thereby topping the daily ranking. This was also a new record for the most hearts per day in the history of the platform.

By adding up all the daily votes for the last week of the year, Jimin accumulated a total of 300,868,840 votes, thus also placing first in the weekly ranking and setting a new record for the most hearts per week in the platform's history.

Finally, Jimin had amassed 413,264,919 votes on aggregate for the month of December, thus also ranking first in the monthly ranking and again setting a new record for the most hearts per month in the platform's history. This was the 17th consecutive month for Jimin to top the monthly ranking, the most for any idol on the platform, which is also another record for him.

With this big day for Jimin, he also maintained his position as the number 1 idol in the Top 50 Hall of Fame with an accumulated 1,515,163,126 total heart votes.

Here are some fan reactions as they believed Jimin indeed deserved that title. Some compiled videos showing his unmatched stage presence and skills, hence why he owns the title. Others made videos of different world-renowned professionals in dance praising Jimin's skills, further emphasizing just how good he is.

Jimin is a dance king, and this is not the first time that he has won a dance crown. He has won the 'Dabeme Pop Best Idol Male Dancer' for 3 consecutive years now (from 2019 to 2021), the 'Dabeme Pop Favorite Dancer' (Male and Female) in 2021, the King Choice 'Best Male K-pop Idol Dancer' for two consecutive years (2020 and 2021), and two previous KPOPVOTE polls for "Who is the Best Male Kpop Dancer of 2021?" In addition, Japanese netizens voted him as the Best Dancer in K-pop' in a survey consisting of 28 contestants and organized by Netlab.

With all these crowns, he is undoubtedly the Dance King.

Meanwhile, Jimin also won the Exciting Dish, DCInside poll for "Which stylish idol goes well with the Gucci bag?" He received over 655 of the total votes cast.
