Jimin has always enjoyed massive popularity within South Korea and globally even since his debut as a member of BTS. This popularity is greatly reflected on various social media platforms in terms of the volume of mentions to his name or views to content associated with him and his performance in various fan-voting polls. Over the years, he has showcased his outstanding talent in his artistry, and fans have come to know his character and understand the kind of person that he is more and more. Consequently, his popularity has only grown with each year as he keeps showing aspects of himself that draw more and more fans and make existing ones even more in awe of him. For this reason, Jimin dominates several polls in which he is included, sometimes extending his reign for months or even years in the same poll - his fans have unwavering and committed support for their idol. This month of October has had several polls and voting events held on different social platforms. Jimin has posted record-breaking results in each of them, including KingChoice, Kdol, Gaon, Instagram, and Tiktok.

KPOP voting site KingChoice conducted the annual KING OF KPOP poll, which ran all through October from 1st to 31st.  Jimin won this poll in 2019 and in 2020, and this year he was once again crowned as 'KING OF KPOP 2021', making it his third consecutive year to take this title. His global popularity is demonstrated by his victory here despite the stiff competition from other idols and the fact that he has been the reigning KING OF KPOP for the past 3 consecutive years. Jimin has cemented his name as the undoubted KING OF KPOP.

Fans on Twitter celebrated the historic win by sending congratulatory messages to Jimin, praising him, and telling them how proud they are of him using the hashtag #JiminKingOfKpop2021, which trended on Twitter.

On KDOL, an app where fans cheer and lend their support to their favorite idols by collecting hearts and using them to vote, Jimin has also posted several new records on the platform following the October voting period.  First of all, he ranked first in the daily ranking for October 31, making it his 16th consecutive win in the daily ranking. 

He also ranked first among all idols for October, making this his 15th consecutive month at the top of the monthly ranking. 

With this win, he also maintained his position as the number one idol in the Top 50 Hall of Fame, which also led to another record of having been the Top Idol in the Hall of Fame for 14 consecutive months.  

He also set 10 new ALL-KILL records, all centered around total heart votes received and different kinds of rankings for specified periods.

Fans also celebrated Jimin's numerous records on KDOL and congratulated him using the hashtag #JiminKdolEmperor15Months, which became a trending topic on Twitter.

On Tiktok, Jimin's individual name tag surpassed 71 Billion views as of November 1, extending his dominance as the second most-viewed individual tag on the platform's history. This is an impressive feat considering that he does not have an individual account on the platform and only posts on BTS' official Tiktok account. Nevertheless, his popularity on the platform has been demonstrated time and again. 

For instance, he currently holds the record for the most liked and viewed Tiktok by a Korean individual celebrity in the first 24 hours with his 'Permission to Dance' Tiktok video. 

Additionally, his 'Boy With Luv' Tiktok is also the most liked individual Tiktok from a South Korean artist and the most viewed BTS solo-Tiktok. 

His popularity on the platform is evident from such records.

On Instagram, his individual name tag surpassed 65 million posts remaining to be the most mentioned individual on the platform's history. Again, Jimin owns no personal account on the platform, which makes this even more mind-blowing. His posts are made on BTS' official Instagram account along with those of the other members of the group.

He holds other records with his individual posts, such as being the first, fastest, and only male Korean act with four posts surpassing 7 million likes each. His individual Butter concept clips have the highest views out of all seven members, as does his 'MAP OF THE SOUL ON:E CONCEPT PHOTO BOOK' Short Film.

Jimin has exerted his complete dominance on the platform.

On the Gaon Social Chart 2.0 for Week 43, Jimin climbed up four places from Week 42 to rank 19th, as the highest-ranking BTS member and also the highest-ranking boy group member without a solo debut. This is his 11th consecutive week ranking on the chart.

The ranking criteria for this chart is based on data collected from My Celebs, YouTube, Vlive, TikTok & Mubeat, which would mean that idols with solo works have a better chance of ranking high on the chart. However, even without any solo projects to his name, Jimin is performing exceptionally well, ranking higher and higher each week. Fans cannot help but be excited at the thought of how he would perform on these metrics if he had solo projects.

On Choeaedol, Jimin was selected as the 'October Miracle,' having received the most hearts out of all the idols born in October. Looking at the hearts received by other idols on the platform generally, Jimin also became the idol with the highest number of votes ever in the history of the platform. For this record-breaking achievement, Jimin will have a subway advertisement at the Konkuk University station, to run from November 15 to November 29.

Jimin also became the 219th and 222nd Charity Fairy, titles which he received in a span of 3 days. Therefore, 1 million Won ($844) was donated in his name.

Jimin is excelling on every social platform, with record-breaking achievements being reported every other week. His popularity and influence are evident everywhere.
